ASVEL Villeurbanne have no intention of parting ways with Sylvain Francisco, according to Eurohoops. The French guard has signed a record contract with the club, which considers him the centerpiece of its new project despite ongoing financial concerns.
Although Panathinaikos remain strongly interested in Francisco, ASVEL’s position is clear: the player will only leave if the club changes its stance.
ASVEL have already paid the buyout owed to Zalgiris Kaunas, completing every step required for Francisco’s move to France. Meanwhile, Panathinaikos continue to assess other options, including Nigel Williams-Goss and additional targets from the U.S. market.
