ASVEL sign Jae Crowder for the 2026-27 season

LDLC ASVEL are delighted to announce the signing of Jae Crowder for the 2026-27 season.

The American forward joins the team with exceptional experience at the highest level of world basketball. With 14 NBA seasons and more than 900 games played in the league, Jae Crowder will bring LDLC ASVEL a unique wealth of experience, a strong personality, two-way impact and a winning mentality forged over the years with some of the biggest franchises in American basketball.

Selected 34th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, Jae Crowder quickly established himself as one of the best 3-and-D players of his generation. After starting his career with the Dallas Mavericks, he went on to play for the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings.

It was in Boston that his profile truly emerged. A tough-minded player capable of defending multiple positions, taking on the opposition’s best offensive players and making teams pay from beyond the three-point line, Crowder became one of the league’s most sought-after two-way players over the years.

His career also took him to the NBA’s biggest stage, including two NBA Finals appearances: in 2020 with the Miami Heat and in 2021 with the Phoenix Suns.

A true team player, Jae Crowder is known for his intensity, leadership and ability to step up in important moments. His playoff experience and familiarity with the league’s most demanding environments will be a major asset for the Villeurbanne team.

He will wear number 99.
