LDLC ASVEL has officially announced the signing of Hugo Besson. The French player can cover both backcourt positions and, as highlighted by the club, will bring scoring ability, creativity and international experience.
Selected with the 58th pick in the NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers, Besson previously played for Saint-Quentin, the New Zealand Breakers and Metropolitans 92, helping the latter reach the French league finals in 2023.
His career later took him to FMP Belgrade, Varese, Manisa and Tofas before his return to France with ASVEL. According to the Villeurbanne club’s official announcement, Besson will wear jersey No. 25.
