Led by president Tony Parker and deputy president Gaetan Muller, ASVEL Basket has announced two major strategic developments for the club’s future: the continuation of its commitment to the EuroLeague and the arrival of several new strategic investors.
According to the club’s statement, these moves reflect ASVEL’s ambition to establish itself permanently among Europe’s elite basketball organizations while building a bridge between European basketball and the NBA, with the long-term vision of playing a key role in the possible creation of a future “NBA Europe.”
ASVEL also confirmed the arrival of several new investors:
- Swiss group HelvetX, supported among others by Pierre Gasly and Maxime Gillot, with the goal of developing economic and academic initiatives around Geneva and western Switzerland.
- An international group including Dubai-based sports finance expert Kader Remil and sports development specialist Kenny Jean-Marie.
- ISC Group, featuring sports marketing pioneer Lucien Boyer and sports rights expert Laurent Damiani.
- Former Apicil executive Eric Rosenthal, bringing additional management and organizational expertise.
With this financial and strategic reinforcement, ASVEL aims to accelerate its sporting, economic, and international growth while strengthening its position as one of the leading clubs in European basketball.
