ASVEL and Monaco could be preparing major budgets for the next EuroLeague season. According to Eurohoops, LNB president Philippe Ausseur sounded optimistic about the projects of the two French clubs.
Speaking about ASVEL, Ausseur mentioned a budget of around €40 million, calling it a positive sign for French basketball. With Tony Parker expected to take over from the bench, the club could target high-level players, both French and foreign.
The future of Monaco also appears more encouraging. Ausseur referred to a “real, ambitious takeover project,” with a financial scale between €30 million and €40 million, while noting that conditions still need to be clarified around Aleksej Fedorycsev’s position.
