AS Monaco has announced the launch of a rebuilt sporting, economic and social project backed by a new reference shareholder, the Principality’s authorities and the club’s partners.
In an official statement, Monaco confirmed it will submit an application this week to compete in Nationale Masculine 1, France’s third tier. The youth academy will occupy a central role in the rebuilding process.
“The objective is clear: to return,” the club stated. Monaco intends to climb back through the French basketball system on the court and eventually return to European competition.
