After two seasons in Istanbul, the 2000-born point guard has chosen Zhejiang Golden Bulls.

A new chapter is ahead for Arturs Zagars. The Latvian point guard is set to leave Fenerbahce after two seasons with the Turkish powerhouse and continue his career in China.

According to BasketNews, Zagars has reached an agreement with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls. The move comes despite the player having received several offers from European clubs, including opportunities to continue competing in either the EuroLeague or EuroCup.

The 25-year-old guard has decided to embrace a new challenge outside Europe after spending the last two seasons in Istanbul, where he was part of Fenerbahce’s roster.
