Coppa Italia MVP Armoni Brooks spoke again about his future with Olimpia Milano, this time in an interview with Corriere della Sera (Roberto De Ponti), after his post-title comments. When told that fans “love him but are worried,” the Texas guard laughed: “Worried about what?”
The focus, of course, is a potential contract extension: “It’s nice that the fans want me, my desire is to stay. It’s just a matter of timing and finding the right balance,” Brooks said, reinforcing his intention to continue in Milan.
Brooks also highlighted the bond with the crowd, recalling the “MVP, MVP” chant at Allianz Cloud after the win over Efes: “It was the first time it happened in my career… an experience—let’s call it—almost out-of-body… a special connection with the fans.”
