Aris Thessaloniki Strongly Interested in Luca Banchi for Next Season

According to today’s print edition of La Prealpina, Aris Thessaloniki is reportedly highly interested in coach Luca Banchi for next season.

This is what La Prealpina writes about the Italbasket head coach: “There is strong interest from Aris for Luca Banchi; the Italbasket head coach is a leading candidate to guide the Greek club, which was acquired 12 months ago by the young Canadian-American entrepreneur Richard Hsiao. The coach from Grosseto, who has a part-time option in his contract with the FIP starting next season, had ruled out the possibility of coaching in Italy in 2026/27. If the deal—which is still in its early stages, though an initial contact has reportedly been made—goes through, Banchi will face Andrea Trinchieri as an opponent. Trinchieri signed a three-year agreement with PAOK Thessaloniki in recent months (and will bring with him Max Menetti, already his assistant at Zalgiris Kaunas).”
