APU Udine has announced the signing of Žan Mark Šiško, a Slovenian point guard born in 1997, for the 2026/27 season.
The 191 cm floor general brings international experience, leadership and high-level playmaking to the Italian club.
Šiško played more than 70 EuroLeague games with Bayern Munich, where he also worked with head coach Adriano Vertemati.
Last season, he was a key figure for Cibona Zagreb, leading the Croatian club to the domestic title and earning Finals MVP honors.
General manager Andrea Conti commented on the signing: “He is a true point guard, one of those players who make all his teammates better.”
Šiško explained his decision to join Udine: “One of the main reasons that pushed me to come to Udine is the ambition of this club.”
With Šiško’s arrival, APU Udine adds an experienced European floor general to its roster, ready to lead the team in the upcoming Serie A season.
