Anthony Gill has earned a spot on the Wizards’ Opening Night roster for his seventh consecutive season in Washington

Anthony Gill has made the Washington Wizards’ Opening Night roster despite entering training camp without a guaranteed spot.
The veteran forward signed a non-guaranteed Exhibit 9 deal and will now spend a seventh consecutive season in Washington.

Gill averaged 5.8 points and 2.9 rebounds last season while shooting 63% from the field. The Wizards also converted Reece Beekman’s deal to a two-way contract.

Washington will enter the regular season with 15 players on standard contracts and three on two-way deals.
