Edwards will sign a super max extension

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Anthony Edwards have agreed to a maximum five-year, $260 million Designated Rookie deal.

If Edwards is selected for an All-NBA team in 2024, he will be paid in full.

The weekend was spent by the two parties negotiating the specifics of the agreement.
