The Minnesota Timberwolves have listed Anthony Edwards as questionable for Game 1 of their second-round NBA playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.
Edwards suffered a bone bruise after hyperextending his left knee in Game 4 against the Denver Nuggets. He completed light on-court work over the weekend, traveled with Minnesota to San Antonio and was cleared for basketball activities ahead of Monday’s shootaround.
According to ESPN, optimism is growing that Edwards could return sooner than the initial Games 3 or 4 target. The Timberwolves remain cautious, as he has also dealt with persistent inflammation in his right knee over the past month.
