Appearing on NBA Today, Shams Charania discussed the latest developments regarding the potential contract extension between Anthony Davis and the Washington Wizards.
According to the ESPN insider, the two sides have decided to postpone discussions in order to gather more information before making a decision:

Davis played 20 games with the Mavericks last season and appeared in 51 contests between Dallas and the Lakers during the 2024-25 campaign. The 4-time All-NBA has yet to make his debut with the Wizards.
For Davis, this marks his first experience with an Eastern Conference team after spending 14 seasons in the Western Conference.
