Anthony Davis unlikely to play in Game 5 due to strained groin

Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is unlikely to play in Game 5 vs the Phoenix Suns due to a strained groin, reports The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Davis sustained the injury during the second quarter of the Lakers’ Game 4 loss.

There is optimism about the status of the player, however, as the series continues beyond Game 5. Davis will continue to be evaluated day-to-day.
