Anthony Davis on In-Season Tournament: Five hundred [thousand] dollars sounds really good to us

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis set the record straight on what is really attractive about the NBA In-Season Tournament.

“Five hundred [thousand] dollars sounds really good to us.It’s going to give us a bit of a boost, you know what I mean? … I heard one of our teammates, I won’t say who, but he said, ‘Man, when we beat Phoenix, it’s a step towards this $500,000. I’ve never had it before’. So it’s extra motivation,’ Davis said.

The players on the team that wins the trophy will each receive $500,000 in prize money.
