Andrea Trinchieri’s coaching staff at PAOK

PAOK, coaching staff set to support Andrea Trinchieri for the new season

The new era of PAOK is being built day by day and on solid foundations.

With Andrea Trinchieri at the helm and a clearly defined three-year plan, PAOK is putting together a coaching staff that combines experience, knowledge, modern ideas, a European outlook and a strong connection with the club’s history and values.

Alongside Andrea Trinchieri will be his lead assistant Max Menetti, a coach with extensive experience at the highest level of European basketball and a significant career as a head coach, making him one of the most reliable and respected professionals in the game. Menetti has already spent three months working with the team, having started his daily involvement with PAOK at the same time as Trinchieri. The two previously worked together at Zalgiris Kaunas.

Giorgos Dedas will also join PAOK’s coaching staff. He is one of the most highly regarded Greek coaches of the new generation, with a significant career during the early stages of his coaching journey. Dedas also knows the club’s philosophy and history well, having worn the PAOK jersey for five years. His presence adds experience, personality and a deep understanding of the team’s environment.

Charalampos Karaiskos will remain on the coaching staff. He has been a constant presence in the team’s daily operations, spending the last 10 years on the coaching staff and even longer within the club through his work with the youth teams.

Another new addition to the coaching staff is Andrew Antelidze, a young coach with significant room for development. He worked with Coach Trinchieri during their time together at Zalgiris Kaunas, where he remained until the end of the past season, gaining EuroLeague experience and valuable exposure at the highest level of European basketball.

Vangelis Margaritis will also have an important role, taking on the position of Players Development Coach following Trinchieri’s arrival. Margaritis wore the PAOK jersey for 11 years and became one of the figures most closely associated with the club’s modern history. His presence creates a strong bridge between PAOK’s values and the new generation of players he will be tasked with developing.

Stavros Chatzipetrou will also be part of the coaching staff. The young coach already has two years of experience with the team and will also be responsible for individual player development.

Luka Nastov is another addition to the staff. The 31-year-old Serbian will serve as Strength and Conditioning Coach. He previously worked with Partizan and Bahcesehir and was part of Andrea Trinchieri’s staff during his time with the Belgrade club.

Nastov’s direct assistant will be strength and conditioning coach Alexis Papachristou, who has been part of PAOK’s youth setup for several years, working on the physical preparation and conditioning of the academy players.
