The Italian coach played down the significance of preseason results: “What matters is what we show when the official games begin.” He explained that the team must progress through several stages between September and March.
Trinchieri also dismissed premature EuroLeague comparisons: “We are a EuroCup team, regardless of what anyone says. PAOK must move up three levels and build a bridge on solid foundations to reach where we want to go.”
