Amar’e Stoudemire agrees to become Brooklyn Nets assistant coach

Stoudemire will reportedly focus on player development.

Six-time All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire has agreed to a deal to join new Brooklyn Nets coach Steve Nash’s staff as an assistant coach, sources tell The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Stoudemire, who seemed close to return to Maccabi Tel Aviv as a player, will reportedly focus on player development.
