Alondes Williams will remain with the Washington Wizards. According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the Wizards and the free-agent guard have agreed to terms on a new contract. The news was confirmed by Williams’ agent, Daniel Hazan.

The deal keeps Williams in Washington after he spent time with the franchise last season. It was with the Wizards that the 26-year-old recorded his NBA career-high, scoring 25 points in a single game.

With this new agreement, Williams will have another opportunity to continue his development with a young team in the midst of a rebuild while aiming to earn a larger role in the Wizards’ rotation.
