Marcus Carr said he joined Virtus “to play for a great club, compete at a high level and help the team achieve its goals.” The Canadian listed Allen Iverson, Steve Nash, LeBron James and Tyrese Rice among his basketball inspirations, adding that it is “an honor” to play for Alex Mumbru. Francesco Ferrari stressed the need to develop chemistry within a heavily renewed group: “This is the most important season for me, my first real year in Serie A and the EuroLeague.”
Wendell Moore Jr. described himself as a versatile player capable of shooting, scoring near the rim and operating in the pick-and-roll. Momo Diouf praised Mumbru’s fast-paced system and said he hopes to become “a cornerstone” after three years in Bologna. Davide Casarin summarized his emotions: “It is an honor to wear the V on my chest, a childhood dream coming true.”
