Alec Peters says goodbye to Olympiacos: “I will be Olympiacos for life”

Alec Peters has officially parted ways with Olympiacos, posting an emotional video message to say goodbye to the Piraeus club.

The American forward looked back on four years in Greece, ending his run as a EuroLeague champion and multiple-time Greek champion, while explaining how difficult it is to leave a team, a city and a fanbase with which he built such a strong bond.

“Even though I won’t wear the Olympiacos jersey from now on, I still feel I will be Olympiacos for life,” Peters said, thanking the club, teammates, staff and fans. “I couldn’t think of a better way to leave.”
