Albicy’s career night pushes Zenit to a surprising upset over Zalgiris

Russian side gets the win 76-75 in overtime.

Zenit St. Petersburg completes a surprising upset by defeating Zalgiris Kaunas after an overtime period, coming back from a 17 points deficit in the first half.

Russian side was able to turn tables first in the first half and then between third and fourth quarter, with a 16-0 run. Walkup free throws clinched overtime for Zalgiris, but Albicy’s pair from the line, with 2” to play, gave Zenit their eighth win of their maiden Euroleague campaign.

French guard led his team with a Euroleague career high 19 points, with Iverson adding 14; Zalgiris had an outstanding performance from Landale with 27 points and 6 rebounds.
