The 26-year-old takes the next step in his European career by joining the German team

ALBA Berlin has officially announced the signing of Joe Wieskamp on a three-year contract.

The forward, who was selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft, spent the 2025–26 season in Germany’s Basketball Bundesliga with Science City Jena. He averaged 15.6 points and 7.6 rebounds in 27 minutes per game, while shooting an efficient 51% from the field, 40% from beyond the arc, and 77% from the free-throw line.

Before joining Jena, Wieskamp played in Australia’s NBL with the South East Melbourne Phoenix.

The 26-year-old now takes the next step in his European career by joining ALBA Berlin, where he is expected to be an important addition over the next three seasons.
