The Latvian coach has signed for the 2025/26 season

Śląsk Wrocław has officially appointed Ainars Bagatskis as their new head coach. The Latvian signs a guaranteed deal for the 2025/26 season.

A former player in Poland in the late ’90s, Bagatskis has coached Maccabi Tel Aviv, Brose Bamberg and the national teams of Latvia and Ukraine. He is known for offensive schemes and player development.

The club sees him as the right man to restore Śląsk’s competitive identity and push back to the top of Polish basketball.
