Agent for Moore after firing of his player: Contract termination has no legitimate legal basis

Agent for McKenzie Moore, Mario Scotti, sent a statement to Sportando following the firing of his client by Anwil: “It’s true that McKenzie missed the shootaround before the game last Saturday (that got canceled), he did because he wasn’t feeling well, and he communicated it to the coach too, who was ok with it. We will duly challenge Club’s decision to terminate the contract (announced by the Club on his website and social media earlier today, but not communicated in any other way to the player directly yet) as such termination has no legitimate legal basis”.
