In an interview with newspaper ‘Ta Nea’, AEK Athens president Makis Aggelopoulos has stated that he wants to see the resumption and completion of the current Greek League season, despite the assembly of Club Association and Players Association have already jointly decided to cancel the remaining part of the season.
“We must exhaust every possibility of resuming and completing the league, I know that at this moment we are the only ones who want it and ask for it but we insist. It’s a pity and unfair for everyone to put a stop without fighting while we can. Gyms will be opening and we will return to some normality. We must thus escape fatalism and do something”, Aggelopoulos said.
