The American forward signed a contract for the 2022-2023 season.

Last year the Oklahoma State product had the opportunity to play in NBA with the Portland Trail Blazers, where he managed to record an average of 4.7 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist in 3 games. McGriff then moved to the G League and the Greensboro Swarm, where he averaged 12.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 27 games, before ending the season with a short stint with Puerto Rico (Capitanes de Arecibo).
