Adam Silver on Clippers investigation: “We need to wrap this up”

Adam Silver said the investigation into the LA Clippers and possible salary cap circumvention needs to move toward a conclusion.

The probe centers on whether money was funneled to Kawhi Leonard through a $28 million endorsement deal with Aspiration, a company that also had a $300 million agreement with the Clippers.

Silver said the investigation is being handled by an independent law firm and that the priority is getting the facts right, but he added that the Clippers and the other 29 teams need finality.
