Darius Acuff Jr. delivered a standout performance despite the Sacramento Kings’ heavy 136-105 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. The guard finished with 38 points in 37 minutes, shooting 12-of-25 from the field and an impressive 9-of-14 from three-point range, while also adding 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
It was an outstanding offensive display from the rookie, who consistently found his range from beyond the arc but could not change the outcome of the game. Sacramento suffered a 31-point defeat despite Acuff’s contribution, as he was by far the team’s leading scorer. Domantas Sabonis finished with a double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds, along with 8 assists.
