Olympiacos, Bartzokas: “Crvena Zvezda are in great form, it will be very difficult”

Olympiacos hosts Crvena Zvezda in EuroLeague Round 10, with Georgios Bartzokas warning about the Serbian team’s current form and rim protection.

“It’s a very demanding game and the timing is not ideal for us, considering the way Crvena Zvezda are playing,” Bartzokas said. “They score a lot, build big leads and defend very well. They hold opponents to the lowest two-point percentage, which means they protect the rim extremely well.”

Bartzokas also pointed to their defensive adjustments: “Recently they have been switching a lot, using Ojeleye at center. I have great respect for Coach Navarro. He builds teams with a clear identity and makes them better as time goes on.” Nikos Plotas highlighted the key: “We need to stick to our game plan and play with the same defensive approach we showed in our previous two games.”
