Zeljko Obradovic reflected on Panathinaikos’ overtime win over Real Madrid, with special praise for Kendrick Nunn after his 23-point fourth quarter. “It was an incredible game. The fact that it went to overtime means both teams had a chance to win,” Obradovic said. “Congratulations to my players for this important victory and to Real Madrid for the way they played.”
The coach also highlighted turnovers as a key issue: “Against Aris we scored 91 points despite 20 turnovers and 12 missed threes. That shows our offensive ceiling, but we have to take better care of the ball.”
On Kendrick Nunn, Obradovic added: “I’ve never had a player with more games than practices. He didn’t have a normal preseason. He loves basketball, works hard and everyone knows how talented he is. We need patience. Offensively, he was incredible tonight.” Obradovic also summed up the current EuroLeague landscape: “It’s a season where anything can happen.”
