PAOK, Cedi Osman suffers meniscus tear and will undergo surgery

PAOK has confirmed that Cedi Osman suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee. The player will undergo arthroscopic surgery in the coming days. Osman underwent an MRI scan this morning after experiencing discomfort in his knee, with the examination revealing the meniscus injury.

The club announced that surgery will be performed to address the issue. No recovery timetable has been provided at this stage. It is a significant blow for PAOK given Osman’s central role in the team’s strong start to the season.

Cedi Osman was averaging 22.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in the EuroCup, and last night he scored 25 points, going 12-for-12 from the free-throw line, against BC Roma. In the GBL, he’s averaging 19 points and 2.8 rebounds.
