Real Madrid hosts Fenerbahce in EuroLeague Round 9, with Mikael Jantunen and Jaime Pradilla highlighting the Turkish side’s defense, physicality and experience. “The team is doing well. We’ve gotten good results and made progress, but there’s still a lot of room to improve,” Jantunen said. “Fenerbahce is a top team, probably the best defensive team in the league. It’s very physical and experienced. It’s a huge test.”
Jantunen expects a battle of styles: “We’re two different teams that want to play our own basketball, so it will be about who imposes their style and controls the tempo.”
Pradilla added: “I expect a competitive game right to the end. We have to try to take the initiative and impose our pace. If we can find the extra gear we’ve shown in recent games, we’ll have a better chance to win.”
