Tension reportedly erupted after Besiktas-Olympiacos, with Turkish journalist Fatih Ezen publicly accusing Dusan Alimpijevic of insulting and threatening him following the post-game press conference. The account comes from Ezen himself and, at this stage, represents his version of events.
According to Ezen, the incident took place immediately after the press conference. He says Alimpijevic asked him to step outside and, once they were face to face, directed an insult at him in English. The confrontation reportedly stemmed from comments Ezen had posted on social media criticizing Ante Zizic.
Ezen also claims the Besiktas coach told him to go to the locker room and repeat those comments directly to Zizic, while accusing him of going beyond criticism and being provocative. The journalist further alleges that Alimpijevic threatened to meet him “somewhere without people around” and continued pointing at him and arguing in front of several journalists and club personnel.
“If there are parts of my criticism he considers unfair or wrong, I am always ready to discuss them. I do not tolerate threats, insults or behavior that creates a sense of physical pressure,” Ezen wrote, adding that he intends to report the incident formally to Besiktas. No official response from Alimpijevic or the club is included in the material provided.
