Olympiacos travels to Besiktas with several important absences, but Georgios Bartzokas insists his team will not change its identity. “I don’t have any special tricks up my sleeve to make up for the absences,” Bartzokas said. “We are missing three guards, while Milutinov will not travel either because of a toe injury. Our rotation is more limited.”
“But we will go out there and play like Olympiacos. Besiktas executes well offensively, plays with enthusiasm and has a strong home-court advantage. If we execute effectively in four or five key areas, we will have a chance to win.”
Tyson Ward added: “When you’re missing key players, the most important thing is how mentally prepared you are. The next man has to step up. We have a deep roster and a lot of talent.”
