Kelly Olynyk dominates against Varese with 38 points and 52 PIR

Kelly Olynyk delivered an extraordinary performance in the matchup between BC Roma and Varese. Despite his team’s defeat, the Canadian big man and longtime NBA veteran dominated individually, finishing the game with 38 points, 11 rebounds and a performance index rating (PIR) of 52.

His shooting percentages were equally impressive: Olynyk converted 11 of his 12 two-point attempts, knocked down 3 of 5 shots from beyond the arc and went a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line. He also grabbed 11 rebounds, including 3 offensive boards, completing an exceptionally efficient scoring performance.

It was a remarkable individual display, but ultimately not enough for BC Roma to secure the victory against Varese.
