Thomas Heurtel is a new AEK Athens player. The French point guard personally announced his signing with the Greek club through a story posted on his Instagram account, officially confirming his move to Athens.
Heurtel, a veteran of European basketball, brings experience and playmaking ability to AEK ahead of the new season. Throughout his career, he has played for several major European clubs, including Baskonia, Anadolu Efes, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Zenit Saint Petersburg.
The move to AEK represents another chapter in the 35-year-old Frenchman’s career, as he prepares to return to competitive basketball with the Greek side.
