Slovenia dominates Hungary as Prepelic posts 24 points and nine assists

The hosts led for almost 40 minutes and claimed a 92-77 victory in Ljubljana during World Cup Qualifying

Slovenia defeated Hungary 92-77 at Tivoli Arena in Ljubljana during the second round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers. According to FIBA’s official data, the hosts opened the game on a 10-0 run and led for 39 minutes and 45 seconds.

Klemen Prepelic delivered the standout performance with 24 points, nine assists and four rebounds in under 30 minutes. The Slovenian guard shot 8-of-14 from the field and 6-of-12 from three-point range, finishing with a game-high efficiency rating of 27.

Alen Omic added a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Aleksej Nikolic recorded 18 points and six assists. Nate Reuvers led Hungary with 21 points and five rebounds.
