Aleksej Pokusevski does not believe the door to the NBA has closed. After spending two seasons with Partizan and joining Lokomotiv Kuban, the Serbian forward confirmed to Meridian Sport that he is still considering a return to the United States.
“I don’t like thinking about unrealistic things, but I believe an NBA return is realistic, especially considering my age,” Pokusevski said. He stressed that his priority is reaching a level where he can play well and earn the right status, whether at Lokomotiv or with a EuroLeague club.
The 2001-born player also addressed the possibility of obtaining a Greek passport. Pokusevski, who lived in Greece between the ages of 13 and 18 and maintains strong personal ties to the country, described it as a logical step unrelated to basketball.
