Zach LeDay lands in Sofia: “Ready to work hard and make history”

Zach LeDay has landed in Sofia, where Hapoel Tel Aviv will begin preparing for the new season. “What’s up, Hapoel Tel Aviv fans? I just landed. I’m ready to get straight to work, work hard and make history,” LeDay said in a video published by the club and shared by Basketball Sphere.

The former Olimpia Milano forward averaged 13.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in the EuroLeague last season. According to Basketball Sphere, LeDay initially discussed a possible return to Partizan before Hapoel entered the race with a more lucrative offer.

LeDay joins a significantly revamped roster that also features Amir Coffey, Khadeen Carrington, Tomas Satoransky, Jacob Toppin, Eugene German and Tamir Blatt. Hapoel’s objective is to immediately establish itself as a contender in the new EuroLeague season.
