Panathinaikos handed one-game closed-door sanction, Kendrick Nunn fined €50,000

The DEAB has fined Kendrick Nunn €50,000 and handed Panathinaikos AKTOR a one-game closed-door sanction for a domestic official home game.

The decision followed the review of videos from the incident involving Tariq Jones outside the locker rooms at SEF. According to SDNA, the committee stated that Nunn initiated the verbal confrontation, which quickly escalated into threatening gestures and mutual pushing.

The ruling also highlights Jones’ role, noting that he allegedly tried first to strike his opponent with a punch to the head. Decisions regarding the Olympiacos player and the red-and-white club are expected in the coming hours.
