Breaking news that has shaken the Italian basketball world. Virtus Bologna has decided to relieve Dusko Ivanovic of his duties following last night’s loss to Olimpia Milano in the EuroLeague.
The black-and-white club is parting ways with the Montenegrin coach, who led the team to the Scudetto last season. His successor, at least until the end of the season, will be Nenad Jakovljevic. Dusko Ivanovic’s contract was set to expire this summer.

At the same time, the Club announces that Assistant Coach Nenad Trajkovic is also leaving the team.

The Club further announces that the role of Head Coach of the First Team will be entrusted to Mr. Nenad Jakovljevic, who will be assisted by Daniele Parente and Cristian Fedrigo.
