The disciplinary action follows an attempted physical confrontation with Luka Dončić, which occurred in the hallways of Crypto.com Arena approximately forty minutes after the conclusion of the Kings-Lakers game on December 28.
According to reports from ESPN, the German guard allegedly sought a physical altercation with the Slovenian star following verbal insults exchanged during the match. A more serious incident was avoided only through the timely intervention of security personnel and teammate Deandre Ayton. While Schröder was escorted to the team bus, Dončić left the arena visibly shaken, accompanied by his father, Saša.
