LeBron James practiced again Thursday with the South Bay Lakers, the G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers, and reported no soreness after Wednesday’s session — his first 5-on-5 action in over six months.
The 41-year-old has missed training camp and the Lakers’ first 12 games due to sciatica, affecting his lower back and right leg. He’s ramping up workouts while the team finishes its road trip against the Pelicans and Bucks.
If progress continues, James could rejoin the main roster for Monday’s practice in El Segundo. The Lakers face Utah on Tuesday, with a potential return looming in his record 23rd NBA season.
