After Serbia’s win over the Czech Republic, Svetislav Pešić insisted the team’s goals haven’t changed despite Bogdan Bogdanović’s injury: “Where could we lower ambitions? We’d be shot. They remain the same.”
He called the captain’s exit “emotional and tough” but stressed that Serbia must keep improving daily. He also clarified that Vasilije Micić avoided a serious injury.
Highlighting Vanja Marinković’s impact, Pešić turned to the clash with Türkiye: “This is their best team since Turkoglu, with a full roster and balance. It will be a very tough game.”
