Kristaps Porzingis opens the door to a return to Europe and doesn’t rule out choosing a Greek team. “The atmosphere in some arenas here is insane, it might be my top option.”

Following the Greece–Latvia game, Kristaps Porzingis spoke to SPORT24 and praised the environment in Greek arenas. “The atmosphere here is unbelievable—it would be amazing to play in Greece,” said the Atlanta Hawks big man, who admitted he hasn’t thought much about returning to Europe but definitely doesn’t rule it out.

“It could be a priority. I love the fans and the rivalries here,” he added. Porzingis also commented on Giannis Antetokounmpo: “He’s one of the best in the world, always tough to guard. But he looked fresh and ready.” He closed by saying, “Greece feels like home. The culture, the food, the people… I really enjoy it all.”
