Lloyd’s new deal includes a $4.4M base salary, annual raises, and a $2M retention bonus if he stays through 2028
Tommy Lloyd will remain head coach of the Arizona Wildcats through the 2029-30 season, following a contract extension approved by the Arizona Board of Regents.
Lloyd will earn $4.4 million annually in the first two years, with an additional $700,000 in duties-related bonuses. Starting in year three, his salary will increase by $250,000 each season.
The deal also includes a $2 million retention bonus if Lloyd stays until April 2028. He’s led Arizona to the Sweet 16 four years in a row.
