Assets totaling 41 million euros have been seized from Alekszej Fedoricsev, the owner of AS Monaco, who is reportedly under investigation for the crimes of bribery of public officials, fraud against a Ukrainian public company engaged in the marketing of agricultural products totaling more than 60 million euros, and money laundering.
According to the investigation, the businessman, through a Florence-based trust company, holds the entire capital of a company that owns a very large and luxurious real estate complex in the Tuscan capital.
Among the assets seized from Fedoricsev is the Torre del Gallo, and the preventive seizure refers to the shares of the company that owns the structure. All the confiscated assets would be the result of the reinvestment of the proceeds previously illicitly accumulated.
