According to Gazzetta dello Sport, 2 or 3 LBA Serie A teams could ask to be self-relegated to lower leagues of Italian Basketball should the season be canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Some Italian LBA teams have reportedly ask for financial help to Italian Basketball Federation. Previous reports have indicated a €40M figure as the cost of a canceled LBA season without counting on any financial support.
